The video also features the film director Christopher McQuarrie. Tom Cruise further adds, “As always, thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It truly is the honor of a lifetime. Many of us were eagerly waiting for Tom Cruise aka Ethan Hunt to be in action and it seems like he already did! Even a delay could not keep this amazing guy off our screens and now, he is back with the much-awaited trailer of his upcoming film Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1. Well, it’s been just a few hours since the trailer was released, and it has already created a huge sensation all over the internet. The movie is all set to leave the audience intrigued with its dramatic and globe-trotting action stunts like its predecessors.

Trailer update

For the unversed, the trailer was already teased for a limited audience earlier this year during the CinemaCon event. And now, Paramount has officially released the actioner’s trailer for everyone. The video begins by confirming Czerny’s return as the character Kittridge and then shifts to the traditional MI style of showcasing multiple characters in action. At the same time, we get to see Ethan Hunt doing tasks he is best at – from leaping and running over tall buildings to jumping off cliffs. What catches our attention is a widely publicized stunt at the end of the video that teases some BTS photos. Well, this stunt is by none other than Cruise himself who is seen plunging from the top of a cliff with his motorbike.
