TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s music video for Cat & Dog creates new record on YouTube

Congratulations to all the TXT members! It is because the boy music group has reached a whole new milestone on YouTube. They have done the same with a track that is from their debut album. It is the music video from TXT’s B-side track named Cat & Dog. It is from the group’s debut album titled The Dream Chapter: Star. As per the latest reports, the said track has reached 100 million views on the platform.

With this, the track Cat & Dog has become the fourth ever music video of the TOMORROW X TOGETHER members to have reached such a milestone. It has joined the group’s other tracks, including Blue Hour, CROWN, and Run Away. For the unversed, the track was released in 2018, and it took three years and four months for its music video to reach 100 million views on YouTube.

Earlier achievements

According to the latest Billboard update, the group’s latest mini-album, minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, has ranked at number 157 on the Top 100 Albums Chart. With this, the said album has extended its own record of being the longest-charting K-pop album that was released this year. Currently, the mini-album is spending its 12th consecutive week on the charts.

minisode 2: Thursday’s Child has joined TOMORROW X TOGETHER’S 2021 album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE for making a record of 12 weeks on the chart. The boy group has also joined BTS to become the second only K-pop act to have charted on the Billboard 200 chart with multiple albums for 12 weeks each. Talking about the album minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, it first debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at number 4 in May, the same month when it was released.  Thereafter, it steadily ranked on the chart week after week!

The Lollapalooza

TOMORROW X TOGETHER finally made its debut in Lollapalooza, and we couldn’t be more excited about the same! It was on July 31, 2022, that the group performed on the set for around 45 minutes at the grand US music festival held in Chicago’s Grant Park. The fans around the world also got a chance to view TXT’s power-packed performance via a live stream that happened on the Weverse app. The fans of the group were already excited after the members released their mini-album minisode 2: Thursday’s Child recently, including the collaborative song Valley of Lies ft. iann dior.
