Travis Barker has officially disclosed the name of his first child with Kourtney Kardashian, and it is as unusual as you might imagine. While appearing on an episode of the One Life One Chance with Toby Morse podcast, the Blink-182 drummer, 47, shared insights about his wife Kourtney’s pregnancy, revealing the name they have chosen for their son and his due date. It is important to note that netizens might have already speculated about the name. 

Travis names his son ‘Rocky 13 Barker’

The rocker accidentally revealed the unique moniker on a Monday episode of the podcast while discussing a Hawaii benefit concert that he had to skip because it coincided with the week of his baby boy’s expected arrival. “There’s a benefit for Hawaii that we were going to do, but it’s the week that Rocky’s due,” he said.

“Rocky Thirteen Barker,” host Toby Morse said as the musician repeated, “Rocky Thirteen Barker.” Morse remarked, “Such a hard name, man.” Barker added jokingly, “I was like he’s going to come out of…my wife’s vagina doing front kicks and push-ups and…”

When asked about when the baby is due the Grammy nominee said, “It’s either Halloween or, like, the first week of November.”

Why did Travis choose this name?

During an episode of Complex’s ‘GOAT Talk’, Barker explained why he prefers ‘Rocky 13’ despite his 17-year-old daughter Alabama’s disapproval of the name. “Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies,” the drummer said. “And 13 is just the greatest number of all time. Barker continued, “And ‘Rocky’ [is] the greatest boxing movie of all time.”

‘The stupidest baby name ever’

Much like Travis’ teenage daughter, netizens disapprove of the name as well. Fans are trolling his choice of moniker of X, formerly Twitter. “I’m sorry, “Rocky 13 Barker” gotta be the stupidest baby name I’ve ever heard,” a viral tweet read. “how it feels trying to defend travis barker after he said he liked the name rocky 13 for his unborn child,” another user joked. “If he’s born on a Friday he’s done omg,” a user tweeted. “Wtf is that name ?? Free this kid,” a fourth tweet read.
