Travis is burning the ex-bridge with Kayla Nicole by unfollowing her on Instagram.
Page Six reports that as soon as influencer Kayla Nicole made it public knowledge that she had her eyes on Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, fans noticed the Kansas City Chiefs athlete unfollowed her on Instagram. According to the outlet, on Monday, Nicole re-tweeted a video of Hurts sitting courtside at the Philadelphia 76ers vs. Los Angeles Lakers game.
She captioned the tweet, “Fly eagles fly” following another tweet where she wrote, “Y’all have eyes too. 😂” Incidentally, this public proclamation came with baggage, with most fans furious at her for publically thirsting after a man who is happily taken, while a few cheered her on for her bravery. Additionally, Page Six reports that the comment section tipped Kelce off a little, which led him to press the unfollow button.
Kelce and Nicole dated on and off for five years before calling it off for good in May of 2022. Although the two never addressed the reason behind their split, Page Six reports that the influencer unfollowed Kelce as well as his family amidst budding rumors of his and Swift’s romance. However, fans notice that Nicole and Kylie Kelce still follow each other.
Page Six reports that without mentioning the reason behind their breakup, Nicole has publically admitted to seeking therapy to help her get through a ‘major breakup.’
Regarding his strengthening relationship with 33-year-old Swift, an insider close to the athlete told Page Six, “Travis’ friends think this is the real deal for him,” adding, “They’re still a little shocked by all of it — that he’s dating the Taylor Swift, but they’ve seen how down to earth she is with his friends and family.” The source further noted that the athlete respects and supports Swift’s career and vice versa.
Page Six reports that after ending her 2023 leg of her Eras Tour, she will most probably spend some time with her beau until her re-emergence on the road in February 2024.
On Tuesday, another insider informed Page Six, “Taylor’s still smitten with Travis,” adding, “But she realizes that the hard work in their relationship is about to start as they will be spending weeks at a time together.”
Reportedly, the singer is taking a break from touring until February, giving the pair plenty of “time and opportunity” to spend some “real quality time together.” The insider continued to Page Six, “Now Taylor and Travis can try to be as normal as their lives allow them to be.”
