Now the fans have gotten the latest update on November 2, 2022, Hanawalt confirmed that Adult Swim canceled the series after two seasons on the network. According to series creator Lisa Hanawalt. The cable net rescued the show following its 2019 cancellation by Netflix after one season. She also confirmed the news and wrote on Twitter today, quoting, “Tuca & Bertie has sadly been canceled,” further adding, “I still have a beautiful and weird ending to T&B in mind, hopefully someday we’ll get the chance to finish their story.” Take a look at her full post below.

Tuca & Bertie Plot
The show’s central characters are two anthropomorphic female birds: Tuca the toucan and Bertie the song thrush. Episodes mainly focus on the two’s relationships with each other and with their peers. This animated comedy series explores the friendship between two 30-year-old birdwomen who live in the same apartment building. The buddy comedy features cocky, carefree toucan Tuca and anxious, daydreaming songbird Bertie as they live their lives in the metropolis of Bird Town.
The former roommates separate when Bertie moves in with chipper architect Speckle and Tuca moves upstairs from them. Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong voice the titular characters in this animated show that is decidedly not for kids.
