TXT’s Soobin jokes about ‘selling’ J-Hope’s name to win over Gwangju fans

Soobin and J Hope

BTS and TXT are associated with the same agency and share a great camaraderie since the beginning. While Tomorrow X Together debuted several years after the Bangtan Boys, the seniors always praised the boy band and vice versa. We got a glimpse of this bond again in the new variety show titled Idol Festa Attack.

It so happened that the TXT members were required to sell zuccinis to their fans as a task and also invite them to a guerrilla concert segment. For the unversed, this activity was organized in Gwangju, which happens to be J-Hope’s birthplace.

Hence, TXT’s Soobin devised an idea and called Hobi to seek advice about convincing more people to attend their concert. The latter was quick to respond, only with humorous advice! That’s because the BTS member asked Soobin to sell his name to attract the citizens.

How did J-Hope help Soobin?

The TXT leader was a little confused in the beginning, but his woes were cleared immediately after getting in touch with J-Hope. Meanwhile, many were quick to note Hobi’s caller tune when Soobin called him for help. Of course, it’s his latest release, Killin’ it Girl, that has become a sensation worldwide.

As soon as the rapper answered the call, Soobin referred to him as hyung-nim and asked about the best way to woo the people at Gwangju. The BTS member was quick to praise his city’s warmth and affection. He also pointed out that it’s located exactly in the South, where everyone can enjoy traditional Korean food.

J-Hope further emphasized how he was the ‘pride of Gwangju,’ something that Soobin also agreed.

Next, the TXT member asked Hobi if it was okay to sell him a bit to the citizens of the place. The latter replied in the positive and said that Soobin could sell him however he wants.

Later, the BTS member also taught some satoori to his junior and promised to buy some zuccinis for 990 KRW.

BigHit Music’s grand announcement

While the BTS and TXT members are busy with their respective activities, their agency BIGHIT Music has announced the launch of yet another group, CORTIS. Their pre-debut track titled Go! has already been released on August 11, 2025. It is also going to be the introductory track for the rookie group’s first EP, Color Outside The Lines.

CORTIS is going to be BIGHIT Music’s first launch in six years after they introduced TXT in 2019.
