It’s time for yet another talent to ignite the stage by headlining the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show, and much to everyone’s surprise, this time around, the stadium will dance to the iconic tunes of Usher! The singer, 44, has confirmed that he will be taking the stage for the legendary halftime show, which will be presented by Apple Music, at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, during the big game, which is confirmed to be held next year as it will air live on CBS on February 11, 2024.

This will be his second Super Bowl appearance as he previously performed alongside the Black Eyed Peas when the group headlined the halftime show back in 2011. There is no denying that Usher has altered music, and culture, therefore it will be wonderful to see him return. The news about Usher’s 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show was also confirmed in a recent video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, announcing his upcoming gig, in the clip the fans can see that Usher gets an urgent call from the one and only Kim Kardashian, who tells the musician about his headlining spot. “It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said in a statement. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen,” the “Yeah!” the singer thanked. “I’ll see you real soon.”

On February 11, 2024, the same day that he performs in the Super Bowl, the album Coming Home will also be made available worldwide, which the fans have been waiting for quite some time. The album will include his recent hit single “Good Good,” featuring 21 Savage and Summer Walker. “We’ve put a lot of thought and creativity into this new album to tell a story that is open to interpretation and that will connect with people in different ways,” Usher said of Coming Home in a statement. “I know this has been a long time coming for my fans, and what I’ll say is that all good things come to those who wait.
