Vanessa Bryant has recently paid an emotional tribute to her late husband, Kobe Bryant. For the unversed, the popular basketball player left for his heavenly abode alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people. They died in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, which left the entire world in a state of shock. Bryant also fondly spoke about her marriage with the late Kobe Bryant this Monday while she was still on holiday in the Caribbean with the rest of her family.

Vanessa Bryant has taken to Instagram and shared a throwback picture with her late husband in which he can be seen holding her at his back. Vanessa, on the other hand, lies happily on her husband’s back while wrapping her arms around his chest. She is seen wearing black jeans, and a white blouse with a black baseball hat over her head. Moreover, Kobe was seen dressed in a grey t-shirt.

Moreover, she has also added an emotional caption that reads, “I love you forever, baby. Happy Anniversary.” For the unversed, the date would have marked their 21st anniversary. As soon as she shared the picture on social media, tributes began pouring in from friends and loved ones, including millions of fans worldwide. Most of them left heart emojis on the post.

The family picture

Immediately after sharing the emotional post, Vanessa Bryant also shared some adorable pictures of her Easter festivities in Anguilla. She is accompanied by her children – Natalia (19), Bianka (5), and Capri (2). Natalia Bryant, the oldest daughter, also took to one of her Instagram stories and uploaded the same picture shared by her mother. She said ‘happy anniversary’ while tagging her parents.

Vanessa and Kobe Bryant’s love story

Vanessa and Kobe Bryant met during the shoot of Tha Eastsidaz’s song G’d Up in 1999, as per a report published in The Daily Mail. For the unversed, she was working as a model and a backup dancer at that time. It was also her final year at high school. The pair got engaged six months after their meeting. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at Dana Point in California which was attended by a handful of people.
