Amidst wedding rumors, a picture of Vanessa Hudgens in a white dress on a beach solidified the perception.
The High School Musical alum and Cole Tucker announced their engagement in a public post in February. So when a picture of Hudgens in a casual white dress, barefoot on a beach, surfaced on X(formerly known as Twitter), the rumors began to intensify, per People.
Cementing this perception further, her former High School Musical costar Monique Coleman posted a video on her Instagram Story showing footage of a tropical setting in Tulum, Mexico, where the nuptials are believed to have taken place, captioning the post, “Last morning in paradise.”
On February 9th, the couple broke their engagement announcement via a mesmerizing Instagram post, which featured the 34-year-old actress where the camera zoomed in on her hand to reveal the oval sparkling rock sitting on it. She and her beau were seen posing for the picture in Paris by the Seine, captioning the photo, “YES. We couldn’t be happier.”
In March, Hudgens spoke to People Magazine, where she revealed that she was not expecting the proposal to happen so quickly. She stated, “We had definitely talked about it, but I did not expect it to happen the way that it happened and the moment that it happened,” adding, “It definitely caught me off guard and I was bawling my eyes out.”

Earlier this year on The Drew Barrymore Show, the ‘Princess Switch‘ actress opened up about the difficulties and challenges surrounding the whole shebang of wedding planning. She told Barrymore, “It’s hard,” adding, “I don’t know, finding a venue is tough. I kind of just want to elope.” When the host and prominent actress asked about what her fiance thinks, Hudgens replied, “I mean he just wants to get married to me,” adding, “He’s like, ‘Whatever you want babe.’ ”
In a 2021 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress and singer opened up about how she and her baseball beau met in the first place. Incidentally, their meeting took place on a Zoom call where they had both enrolled in a meditation class. According to reports and information gathered by People, Tucker — who plays in the minor league for the Albuquerque Isotopes, was in Hudgen’s subconscious as “the one” from the time she locked eyes on him.
On Today with Hoda & Jenna in March, a month after their engagement announcement, Hudgens revealed, “I knew. After our first weekend together, I called my sister and was like, ‘I think I just found my future husband.’ ” She added to this, “There’s a sense of security. You feel so safe. It’s the best thing ever. I love being a fiancée.”
She even revealed on the same show that she would be taking his name after marriage, explaining, “Like, professionally it’s obviously going to stay the same. But, yeah, Mrs. T!”
