Imagine your favorite group removing every post from their social media handles and blacking out. Doesn’t seem good, right?
This is exactly what happened a few days ago when the members of VCHA were completely wiped out of JYP Entertainment’s official website. In fact, their respective social media accounts were also deleted.
This led to speculations that the group has reportedly parted ways with the agency due to some members leaving and other controversial lawsuits.
However, the story is otherwise!
New updates from VCHA members
Following the removal of the group from JYP Entertainment’s website, netizens noticed that the members of the girl group had opened up their own personal accounts. Interestingly, all these pages were also followed by the official JYP Entertainment page.
Not only that, but all these accounts have shared the same photo of four microphones with the names of the VCHA members. When this piece of news was posted, it was met with multiple reactions from netizens.

A few thought that the sudden surprise didn’t seem like a good idea. According to many, this may be an attempt to erase the recent issues and controversies surrounding the former members. A few social media users also added that it would be hard to continue with everything linked to the group.
Of course, many fans shared support for VCHA and said that while they will miss the former members, they are eagerly waiting for the new chapter of the group.

JUST IN: #VCHA members have officially opened their personal accounts.
With each VCHA member opening their own Instagram account, a possible comeback or maybe even a rebrand is on the way. 🥺❤️ pic.twitter.com/vwOGrk2dG8

Rising competition for the group
Katseye, Hybe’s US-based girl group, is making notable strides in the market, especially after its primary competitor, VCHA, started struggling to gain traction.
JYP Entertainment confirmed a few weeks ago that VCHA member Kaylee has left the group. That marked a second departure from the group after KG exited in December last year. VCHA was originally a six-member act and was reorganized as a quartet later.
The group was originally formed through the A2K Project, which is a joint global audition program with a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, Republic Records. Since debuting in January 2024 as JYP’s first US-based girl group, VCHA has released two pre-debut singles and two single albums.
