Keep your calm as Mel’s coming back. Yes, you heard us right. Our dearly loved nurse Mel Monroe is going to be back in the upcoming season of Virgin River. Virgin River follows Melinda or Mel Monroe’s attempt for a new life, to start fresh and leave whatever she’s been through behind. But is it going to be that easy? Absolutely not. She’ll have a whole different kind of life and adventures and misadventures that come with it.
Three seasons of Virgin River have already been on air and since the third one came out, fans have been questioning about any more seasons of the series. So here’s everything we know about Virgin River Season 4:

Virgin River Season 4 Release Date
Virgin River Season 4 is all set to release on Netflix on June 20, 2022.
How many episodes will be there in Virgin River Season 4?
Though all the previous seasons of Virgin River had 10 episodes each and we were expecting the same for the fourth season as well. But it has come to light that Virgin River Season 4 has been expanded to 12 episodes from 10.

Virgin River Season 4 Plot
Multiple points will be addressed in Virgin River Season 4. Mel’s pregnancy has been a crucial part of the plot and the identity of the father is still not out so we’re expecting that this loose end will be tied in the upcoming season. Doc would most probably be struggling with his disease which kept on increasing in the previous seasons. We might as well see Hope in the upcoming storyline based on the fact that though she was missing in the previous instalment, her (alleged) trip to her aunt will eventually end.

- Alexandra Breckenridge as Melinda “Mel” Monroe. She works as a nurse practitioner and a midwife, currently living in the Virgin River.
- Martin Henderson as Jack Sheridan. He owns a local restaurant and bar. HE is an ex-marine which is one of the reasons for his PTSD.
- Colin Lawrence as John “Preacher” Middleton. He works as a chef at John’s place. The two know each other back from the marine days.
- Jenny Cooper as Joey Barnes. She is Melinda’s older sister. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
- Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine Roberts. She and Jack share a kind of a ‘friends with benefits’ relationship.
- Annette O’Toole as Hope McCrea. She is the mayor of Virgin River.
- Tim Matheson as Vernon “Doc” Mullins, MD. HE works as a local physician.
- Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dan Brady. Jack and he were in the Marines together and since he left, he has been struggling with a normal life.
- Grayson Gurnsey as Ricky. He works at Jack’s restaurant and wishes to work as a Marine later on.
- Sarah Dugdale as Lizzie. She is Connie’s niece who is from Los Angeles.
- Zibby Allen as Brie Sheridan. She is Jack’s sister.
- Marco Grazzini as Mike Valenzuela. He is a police detective. He too was a Marine.
- Mark Ghanimé `as Dr. Cameron Hayek. He’s also a physician.
- Kai Bradbury as Denny Cutler. He is Doc’s long-lost grandson.
Will there be more seasons of Virgin River?
The fifth season of Virgin River was confirmed along with Virgin River Season 4, though there is no story for it yet and it’s too early to say about any further seasons.
