Welcome to Eden Season 2: What to expect?
The tagline of this states, “With no way off the island and a host of new challenges, the rebellion launches a full-scale fight for freedom while Astrid keeps working on her ideas for a New Eden.” On the other hand, the season is expected to pick up from the first season which followed:
“Are you happy? With this question, Zoa and four young, attractive, and social media-active boys and girls are invited to the most exclusive party in history, set on a secret island and organized by the brand of a new drink. What starts as an exciting adventure will soon turn into the trip of their lives. But paradise is not really what it seems… Welcome to Eden.”
In this new season, mystery and danger at the island keep growing and Eden Foundation welcomes new characters played by Carlos Torres (The Queen of Flow) and Nona Sobo (Entrevías), who join the series cast.
Amaia Aberasturi (Akelarre), Amaia Salamanca (Despite everything), Belinda Peregrín, Berta Castañé, Lola Rodríguez (Veneno), Sergio Momo (Élite), Begoña Vargas (High Seas), Tomy Aguilera (SKAM Spain), Guillermo Pfening (Foodie Love), Diego Garisa, Lucía Guerrero (Grupo 7), Carlos Soroa, Dariam Coco e Irene Dev among others, pick up their characters from the first season for the next chapter.
In addition to this, Joaquín Górriz (Desaparecidos) y Guillermo López (Atrapada) will write all the episodes of this second season, directed by Denis Rovira (La influencia), and Juanma Pachón (Heridas) and produced by Brutal Media. According to recent reports, Welcome to Eden has been confirmed to be filmed in different locations in Spain such as Lanzarote, Barcelona, and Teruel.
While you wait for the season to premiere next week, we would like to point out that the exact episode count of the next season hasn’t been disclosed yet. But if we have to predict, then we expect it to include at least eight episodes with an average runtime of 40 to 45 minutes, just like the first season.
Of course! This is just speculation, and anything can happen depending on the plot of this season, which can lead to a slightly smaller or bigger season. We’ll just have to wait and see which direction the creators will eventually take. In order to receive updates on when the show premieres exclusively on Netflix.
