A horror movie involving two devilish brothers and their teenage archnemesis? Read on to find out more about Wendell and Wild.
Wendell and Wild is an upcoming animated horror-comedy movie directed by Henry Selick, from a script written by Selick and Jordon Peele and based on an unpublished book by Selick and Clay McLeod Chapman. The film revolves around two demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, who enlist the help of a “tough teen” to summon them to the “land of the living”.
The film was announced way back in 2015, and recently, Peele has collaborated with Netflix to release the movie, and we must say, it is a brilliant move as the film will get millions of views and also lessen the risk of the movie being missed by people in theatres.
Here’s everything you need to know about Wendell and Wild.

Wendell and Wild Trailer
While it’s too early to ask for a trailer, here’s the teaser below:
Wendell and Wild Plot
The official synopsis reads as follows:
“From the delightfully wicked minds of Henry Selick and Jordan Peele, comes Wendell & Wild, an animated tale about scheming demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wild (Peele) — who enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot — a tough teen with a load of guilt — to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other, an animated fantasy that defies the law of life and death, all told through the handmade artistry of stop-motion.”
From the teaser and synopsis, we can conclude that the movie is going to be a dark-themed film that will have brilliant animation, like Selick’s other works. The voice cast is also amazing, and they should do an exceptional job in bringing out the best of the characters.
