According to a report by People, Tristan Thompson reportedly proposed to Khloe for marriage in December 2019. Despite the cheating scandal, the two of them had rekindled when he asked her to marry him for the second side. In fact, Khloe Kardashian said yes to him in and around February 2021, as per People. Later, the couple successfully conceived a second child in the final month of 2021 via a surrogate. It was then that the news about Thompson fathering a child with Maralee Nichols broke out, leaving everyone shocked.

If reports are to be believed, Khloe Kardashian called off the secret engagement with Tristan Thompson in December 2021 after the paternity scandal. Although he and Khloe parted ways, the two of them welcomed their son in July this year. It was revealed in The Kardashians that Thompson even visited the hospital after the birth of his newborn son.
Khloe Kardashian further talked about allowing her ex to see his son at the hospital and said, “I’ve been on the fence about letting Tristan come to the hospital or not, but Tristan wants to be here so I just figured, why not let him come? I’ll never get this moment back.”
