Having debuted in 2018 on NBC, New Amsterdam is an American medical drama television series, based on Eric Manheimer’s book, Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital. The fifth season of the series, which is also its last, was released on January 17, 2023, on NBC and garnered a loyal fanbase.

However, it has now been made official that more seasons of New Amsterdam will be arriving on Netflix on February 1, 2023. Now that’s some good news!
Though Netflix hasn’t confirmed which new seasons of the series will join the first two on the streamer it only makes sense to say that season 3 will drop in February. In fact, New Amsterdam season 4 could also be added to Netflix, though it may not be possible to confirm right now if the fifth and final season will be added this early, soon after its conclusion.
