Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, who also happens to be the “Lavender Haze” singer’s boyfriend, did not attend the latter’s birthday bash. According to PEOPLE, the NFL star was in Kansas City for “mandatory practices” on Wednesday, preparing for their game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Rumors surfaced speculating how the couple would spend Swift’s birthday, one of which suggested that Kelce is planning to throw the 34-year-old singer an epic birthday bash in New York City. Be that as it may, both Swift and Kelce have been firmly committed to their careers. Per PEOPLE, the couple had already celebrated the singer’s birthday early with friends in Kansas City on Sunday.
Despite the Chiefs losing to the Bills that day, the couple seemed to be happy as they joined a party at a holiday pop-up bar in Kansas City. The photos revealed the couple posing with partygoers and indulging in sweet PDA throughout the night.
According to Marca, the pre-birthday bash was thrown by Travis Kelce and was attended by his mother, Donna Kelce, and the Mahomes family, among others.

Per Cosmopolitan, the “Endgame” singer was spotted hanging out with her friends, including Selena Gomez, Miles Teller, and Keleigh Sperry at celeb hotspot Zero Bond before her birthday. E! News reported that Swift started her party with her gal pal Blake Lively.
The two were sported donning a black dress for their evening in the Big Apple, with the Gossip Girl star adorned with a black leather dress complemented with a high slit and finished with a pair of edgy knee-high Louboutin boots. Taylor was spotted wearing a shimmery black minidress with cloud, moon, and star symbols.

According to a PEOPLE’s source close to the NFL star, “He is a gentleman. He is very focused on his career. He has a great relationship with his family. He has an amazing energy and approach to life.”
The source said last month, “It all feels very special.”
It’s been no secret that the couple has been extremely supportive of each other when it comes to their careers. For instance, when Kelce hit the milestone of becoming the fastest tight end in NFL history to acquire 11,000 receiving yards last month, Swift showed her support for her beau and liked an Instagram post from the Chiefs celebrating the record, according to PEOPLE.
Not only that, but Travis’ brother Jason Kelce also remarked about her support on their New Heights podcast, saying, “You might not care about records, but you know who does, a 92 percent-er by the name of Taylor Swift. That’s right. She liked an Instagram announcement from the Chiefs about you breaking this record.”
Reciprocating his bae’s efforts, the Kansas City Chiefs player has also flown in to support the singer on the South American leg of the hit tour the previous month, where the couple shared one of the most adorable romantic moments.
During the concert, Swift tweaked her Karma lyrics and sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me”, not-so-subtly nodding to their advancing relationship. In a fan-captured footage, the NFL star, who was standing in the VIP tent with her dad, Scott Swift, was captured blushing from ear to ear upon hearing the lyrics.
