Taylor Swift is not joining the Kelce family for Thanksgiving this year.
Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mother, has recently made it clear that Swift would not be a part of their Thanksgiving celebration as many assumed.
Donna appeared on November 14’s episode of TODAY where she discussed her plans for Thanksgiving. She revealed that she would be attending a football game this holiday season.
“I am going to be at a football game,” she said. “Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always the holidays. Football is family… Not that anything is planned yet. I think we’re just going to be at the football game and doing that.”

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will play against the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday, November 29, at Arrowhead Stadium. While Donna would be seen cheering up the Chiefs tight end, her partner in the box – Taylor Swift might miss the game and the Thanksgiving celebrations altogether.
“She’s kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do,” Donna replied to TODAY’s host on being asked about the ‘Karma’ singer’s appearance.
Taylor Swift resumed her Eras Tour on October 18, 2024, in Florida following a brief hiatus after her August shows. She will perform from November 14-16 in Toronto then November 21-23. The Grammy winner will end the record-breaking tour on December 8 in Vancouver.
The Thursday’s episode of TODAY also witnessed Donna Kelce’s sweet gesture for the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer.
She was seen sporting a charm bracelet with The Tortured Poets Department album’s logo on her wrist. While Donna didn’t mention it, there’s no way the eagle-eyed fans could have given it a miss.
Donna has been supportive of her son’s girlfriend and thinks Swift brings out the best in him.
He’s happier than I’ve seen him in a long time … God bless him, he shot for the stars!,” she said in an interview last year with The Wall Street Journal.
Even Swift’s family approves of the relationship, proof of which is that her mom Andrea Swift, dad Scott Swift, and younger brother Austin Swift, 32, have now become regular attendees of Kansas City Chiefs games alongside her.
