Yellowjackets Season 3: What to expect in the new season?
The exact launch date has yet to be determined, as the series was recently renewed by Showtime for another season. However, it has been speculated that the forthcoming season would most likely have a release window suggested to be around 2024. The first and second seasons will have 2 years gap. The series is intended to explore the basic premise for the third season which follows an equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story, and coming-of-age drama, Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.

The series is created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos), Yellowjackets stars Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), Juliette Lewis (Camping), Christina Ricci (Z: The Beginning of Everything) and Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable).
