Young Rock Season 3 Release Date and Time Slot
In May 2022, the series was renewed for a third season, which is scheduled to premiere on November 4, 2022, at the time slot of 8:30 p.m. (ET) on Friday nights at NBC, right after the new comedy, Lopez. vs. Lopez. Actor Uli Latukefu who portrays an 18–20-year-old Johnson, shared the news on his Twitter handle and stated, “Season 3 of #Youngrock. November 4.” Take a look at the post below:

The comedy details the life of the very real celebrated movie star and WWE icon, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the various stages of his life that led to his (fictional) run for president in 2032. The series is both narrated and executive produced by Johnson himself. “It’s so cool and so exciting,” Bradley Constant, who plays a teenage The Rock, told NBC Insider.
Further adding, “We’re very lucky to be back for a Season 3…[Johnson] is a part of everything and will be on set, and it’s definitely beneficial with the wrestling. Everything, he’s a part of it, and it’s beautiful to watch it come together.”
Young Rock Season 3 Plot
According to NBC, since Season 2 ended with The Rock’s shaky 1997 WrestleMania debut, we expect that the third will delve even deeper into his WWE career and rise as one of the country’s most recognizable professional wrestlers. Constant told NBC Insider that he wants to see even more of the sport and share some screen time with his co-stars, whom he calls his “brothers.”
Further adding, “I love how last year we had the Christmas special where it was me, Adrian, and Uli,” he says. “Every age of Dwayne—and Dwayne—in the same episode together, interacting with each other. If we could do something like that, but wrestle each other, that would be cool.”
The duo teased that Season 3 will pick up a year after Johnson loses the election. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Khan said: “He’s sort of stepped out of the public eye a little bit, but then he gets the call from President Taft telling him there’s a national crisis and he needs Dwayne’s help. So, he kind of gets pulled back into the mix.” The third installment is also set to tell the story of Johnson’s iconic transformation from “Rocky Maivia” to his now much-adored alter-ego “The Rock.”
