Young Royals Season 3: Is it the final season?

After waiting for a few weeks the good news has finally arrived!

The fandom will get to see the show for one last time. The series was renewed for a third and final season on December 14, 2022. The prospective premiere date has yet to be acknowledged. But if we have to predict the potential release date of Season 3, it might happen sometime around late 2023 or soon after, just like the prior seasons. Fingers crossed! It is expected to air at the same time slot of 12:00 AM (PT) or 3:00 AM (ET). The official Twitter handle of Netflix also confirmed the news among its followers, quoting, “Simon + Wilhelm forever? Young Royals will return for a third and final season.” Take a look at the official post below:

Young Royals Season 3 Plot

It’s unclear where the story of Young Royals will go next if the show returns, but it will have to pick up from the dramatic events of the season 2 finale. The viewers see secrets revealed as an unexpected renegade foils Simon’s plan. Will Wilhelm rise to the occasion as his fateful speech approaches? We expect all the scandal when the new season returns for Season 3, so fans should be patient and speculate among themselves about the possible plotlines and character arcs that can happen in the new episodes.

According to Digital Spy, Omar Rudberg (Simon), we asked what he hopes to see next in a potential third season, to which he replied: “That is so hard because it can go in so many different directions. I have a lot of ideas.” Further adding, “Me and Lisa Ambjörn, the head writer, we want to sit down and talk about what we see and what we feel, and the ideas, and what’s actually going to happen in the story.” “I feel like it was a lot clearer for me when it came to season two,” Rudberg continued. “It was like, ‘This happened in season one. This can happen in season two.’ With season three, it’s like, ‘Now we’re talking. Now it’s getting real.'”

In the meantime, the main cast members who are expected to reprise their roles from the second season are as follows:
