The country star and his wife Yazdi call it quits after four months of marriage.
In a joint statement issued on Friday to TMZ, the former couple announced their split. It read, “We are in the process of divorce,” adding, “Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.”
Divorce rumors sparked when the model suddenly deactivated her Instagram account and rejoined it a few days later, but not with her married name. She changed her maiden name back to her original surname. Brown and Yazdi are not following each other anymore and the former does not appear on his ex’s social media account anymore.
TMZ reported last month that the exes tied the knot back in August in Georgia. A source revealed to People at the time, “He proposed in Hawaii a while ago,” adding, “It was very intimate and the couple has kept it very private.”
The 45-year-old country singer was previously married to a jewelry designer Shelly Brown and the pair announced their divorce after 12 years of marriage. The two share five children, son Alexander, 9, and daughters Joni, 12, Georgia, 13, Lucy, 15, and Justice, 16.
