After months of waiting for any new release since the official trailer for the upcoming romantic sports comedy-drama film directed by Luca Guadagnino dropped more than 6 months ago, the fans can finally get even more excited! The new eye-catching poster for the film, which is written by Justin Kuritzkes, has finally been unveiled by the one and only talented and charismatic actress, Zendaya, on Instagram with 184 million followers.
The 27-year-old actress stars alongside Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist, which has been implied in the first official poster, as it brings the Challengers cast together in a unique way, leaving fans spellbound and on the edge of their seats in anticipation of what promises to be a rather surprising watch as the plot of the film follows a Grand Slam tennis champion who signs up to compete in a challenger event against the former lover of his wife and coach.

About ‘Challengers’
The principal photography of the film began on May 3, 2022, in Boston, and the filming wrapped on June 26, 2022. In addition to this, the official plot synopsis of Challengers reads:
“Tennis player turned coach Tashi (Zendaya) has taken her husband, Art (Mike Faist), and transformed him into a world-famous grand slam champion. To jolt him out of his recent losing streak, she makes him play a “Challenger” event — close to the lowest level of pro tournament — where he finds himself standing across the net from his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend (Josh O’Connor).”
Apart from Zendaya, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Faist, the film also stars Jake Jensen in an undisclosed role. Justin Kuritzkes wrote the screenplay for the film, which is being produced by Amy Pascal, Guadagnino, Zendaya, and Rachel O’Connor. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross did the music for the film. While Warner Bros. Pictures serves as the film’s international distributor, the film will not receive a theatrical release in France and will instead stream on Amazon Prime Video.
