Conflict between CPI (M) and Janapaksha ranks during PC George’s campaign

Kottayam: Clashes broke out between CPI (M) and Janapaksha factions during the campaign of Poonjar constituency candidate PC George. The incident took place on a rock. PC George alleged that CPI (M) activists had disrupted the speech.

While PC George was speaking, the propaganda vehicles of the LDF and the UDF passed by. With this, PC George’s speech was disrupted.

Twice such tendencies were repeated and requested to be incorrect. Later, CPI (M) propaganda vehicles passed by and escalated into a clash.

As things moved into conflict, PC George returned saying he was ending his speech. PC George had also stopped campaigning in the Irrawaddy area.
