But when the Pinarayi government resigned more than five years ago, the public debt rose to Rs 3,01,642 crore.
Oommen Chandy said that the main reason for Kerala’s debt to reach Rs 3 lakh crore was that the Left government seemed to be borrowing money to cover its expenses.
A judicial response –
Public debt in the state is on the rise due to the seemingly unnecessary expenditure of the Left government. When the Pinarayi Vijayan government resigned, the public debt of the state was Rs 3,01,642 crore. According to the RTI, every Malayalee today owes Rs 55,000 due to the stupid economic policy of the Left government.
The main reason for Kerala’s debt to reach Rs 3 lakh crore is that the Left government seems to be borrowing money to cover expenses.
After five years in power, the Left government has plunged our country into a serious debt trap.
