Ducati begins pre-bookings for the 2021 Monster motorcycle in India

Ducati has begun accepting orders for the 2021 Monster motorcycle through its dealerships ahead of its upcoming debut in India. It is already on the market in several international markets.

In terms of highlights, the premium two-wheeler features a dynamic appearance and a number of technological riding aids. It is powered by a 937cc liquid-cooled L-twin Testastretta engine.

The bike is outfitted with a TFT instrument panel and a twin-tip exhaust

The Ducati Monster 2021 is built on an aluminum chassis with a muscular fuel tank with extensions, a rider-only saddle, a twin-tip upswept exhaust, and a flyscreen atop the oval-shaped headlamp.

The bike has a 4.3-inch full-color TFT instrument panel, all-LED lighting, and 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped on Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tires. It weighs 166 kg.

It is powered by a 937cc engine that produces 110hp

The 2021 Ducati Monster is powered by a 937cc liquid-cooled L-twin Testastretta engine that produces 110hp at 9,250rpm and 93Nm at 6,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and a bi-directional quick-shifter.

It comes with three riding modes

The 2021 Ducati Monster has front and rear disc brakes, as well as cornering ABS, traction control, power launch, ride-by-wire, and wheelie control. There are three riding modes available as well: Sport, Touring, and Urban.

The motorcycle’s suspension is handled by 43mm inverted forks on the front end and an adjustable mono-shock unit on the back end.

Pricing and availability for the 2021 Ducati Monster

In India, the 2021 Ducati Monster is likely to cost approximately Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom). At this pricing, it will compete with the Triumph Street Triple R and the Kawasaki Z900.
