One of the crucial characters of Black Panther died at the age of 95 on Friday 15 October 2021. She was born on 23 February 1926 and began her screen career at the age of 88 in the year 2015. The black panther was the first movie that launched her. Her home was in the Detroit area where she took her last breath. She had played many roles during her career but the was prominent due to the role of a tribal elder in Black Panther. The sources told us that she was filming for the most-anticipated sequel of Black Panther. One of the spokespeople reveal that she fought courageously in her last moments. The reason for death is not yet disclosed.

Steel’s assistant Cindy Butler confirmed her death. The news was announced on the Facebook page and wrote that “ It is with a great sadness that I inform you that Steel passed away this morning in her hometown at her house and she always wanted to be at her home.”

She was quite upset while announcing this. Butler also reflected on the work Steel did and thanked her for the amazing time she spent with Steel. Butler also thanked all the casting directors for casting Dorothy.

She was also thanked for all the love and support showered by her fans. Her assistant disclosed that she used to receive a lot of calls from every part of the world but Ms Steel being picky choose a few from them. She also greeted casting members from her prominent movies Black Panther and Christmas Wishes and MI=isletoe Kisses and Jumanji: the Nex Level.

Will Ms Steel Appear In The Sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?

Now steel is no more in this world. The big question arises that will she appear in The Sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? The film already suffered a setback a few months ago. Chadwick Boseman who was playing the lead role in the sequel died in 2020 due to cancer. The Sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was a plan to pay tribute to Boseman. Still, there are no words if Ms Steel will receive the same treatment. The industry has lost a gem and she will always remain in our hearts for her amazing characters. May her soul find peace in the other world.
