It was earlier this year when veteran actress Kirron Kher’s cancer news came as a shock to her fans and made headlines. Her ill health kept her fans and well-wishers praying for fast recovery. Kher is still undergoing treatment for blood cancer.
A few days back, she had revealed that she continued to work in the hospital as well and now amidst cancer treatment, Kirron is all set to return to the small screen. She will be seen as a judge on the reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’.
Here’s what Kirron had said about resuming work.

Kirron Kher has been associated with this show since its inception. He said, “India’s Got Talent has always been close to my heart. This is my ninth year with this iconic talent reality show. It is a great feeling for me to return to it as a judge.”
She said, “I feel like I am making a comeback in my own home. Every time I am stunned to see more than one amazing talent in this show.”
Kirron excited to judge the show
Kirron further added, “It is a matter of pride for me to be a part of this show. I am extremely excited to be judging the show along with Shilpa Shetty Kundra and our Punjabi Munda Badshah.”
She added, “I am thankful to the channel for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the show once again. I can’t wait to see what’s new in India this year on this new journey.”
Kirron revealed she was also working from the hospital
Kiran had said in her last interview, “Now I am feeling better. Work is going on. Even when I was in the hospital, my work was going on through the phone. I recently opened an oxygen plant in Chandigarh. inaugurated.”
She said, “The doctor has not allowed me to travel. I am avoiding air travel as my immunity has decreased due to the treatment.”
Anupam Kher disclosed Kirron’s illness in April this year
Anupam disclosed the illness of his wife Kiran in April 2021. He wrote in a tweet, ‘Just because the rumours don’t get fueled, Sikandar and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood cancer.’
He wrote, ‘She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out stronger than ever. Kirron has always been a fighter.

‘India’s Got Talent’ was launched in 2009
‘India’s Got Talent’ was started in 2009. It is the Hindi adaptation of the British show ‘Got Talent’. This will be the ninth season of the show. It has aired 100 episodes.
Many contestants in the show have entertained the people with their skills. Kirron Kher, Sonali Bendre and Shekhar Kapur have appeared as the judges of the show.
Celebrities like Dharmendra, Sajid Khan, Farah Khan, Karan Johar and Malaika Arora have also judged the show.
