When Rohit Shetty used to work as Chief Assistant Director
In a chat show, Shetty talked about his struggle. He said, “There was a time in my career when I used to earn only Rs 35. I started my career as Chief Assistant Director in the 90s. While starting this film journey my salary used to be Rs 35.”
Shetty told that he continued his work with confidence and hard work. As a result, today he needs no introduction.
The financial condition of the family was bad
Shetty told, “The financial condition of my family used to be very bad. My father was an action director. Still, the journey was not that easy. We did not have a house to live in.”
He said, “I did not have enough money to spend on travel and also eat food. I had to choose between travel or food.” During his struggling days, Shetty loved street food.
Rohit Shetty used to be a Spotboy once
Shetty was a spotboy on the sets of the film ‘Haqeeqat’. He used to press Tabu’s saris. Shetty was also Kajol’s spotboy. He used to touch up her makeup and groom her hair. Shetty made this disclosure in ‘India’s Next Superstar’. However, Shetty, who once became the spotboy of Kajol and Tabu, later took both of them in his films. Shetty made ‘Dilwale’ with Kajol and ‘Golmaal 4’ with Tabu.
Rohit Shetty made his directorial debut with ‘Zameen’
Shetty started his career as a director with the 2003 film ‘Zameen’. After this, he has given many super hit films like ‘Golmaal’ series, ‘All the Best’, ‘Singham’ series, ‘Simmba’ and ‘Chennai Express’.
