BLACKPINK member Lisa is currently facing heavy backlash from some social media users. Why? For allegedly being “too provocative” during her recent performance in Paris.
For the unversed, the MONEY singer wore cutoff shorts and performed a pole dance routine. Reportedly, she also did a s*xually suggestive number with a background male dancer.
Lisa’s performance was part of BLACKPINK’s ongoing world tour, “Deadline.” Recently, its European leg was launched at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis over the weekend.

A few online users expressed concern that the underage fans of the K-pop girl group might imitate the artist. On the other hand, a few others argued that revealing outfits and provocative performances are quite common at the concerts of global pop stars like Sabrina Carpenter. A few others also stated that most female K-pop stars are being held to unfairly high standards.

BLACKPINK will perform in Barcelona on Saturday and London on August 15 and 16. 2025. The group is on the verge of becoming the first female K-pop act to perform at Wembley Stadium, after BTS and Psy. As of now, these three are the only K-pop artists to have performed at the venue.

Recently, Lisa joyfully celebrated BLACKPINK’s 9th anniversary on Instagram. The idol also shared a touching message dedicated to the group’s dedicated fans, called BLINKs.
Lisa displayed a heartwarming collection of candid photobooth images on Instagram, featuring herself alongside her fellow BLACKPINK members, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé. All four girls displayed playful expressions and donned glamorous outfits to highlight their star power.

Love you 젠츄리챙.” The term “젠츄리챙” creatively combines the members’ Korean nicknames—Jennie (젠), Jisoo (츄), Rosé (리), and Lisa (챙). For many BLINKS, they also symbolize BLACKPINK’s unity and deep friendship.
A few days earlier, the group’s track Pink Venom surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. The track, which was released in 2022, continues to be a chartbuster worldwide.
