V has officially completed another milestone on Instagram. The BTS member has now become the first Korean male idol to have surpassed 69 million followers on the social media platform.
The K-pop idol is already making waves with his recent activities post-military discharge, and the latest record seems to have just fueled the craze among fans!
V’s new record on Instagram
Kim Taehyung is already known for his refined aesthetic and artistic sensibilities, and the same reflects on his Instagram account, too! You can see him dancing to the tunes of peppy numbers in some videos. In yet a few other posts, he gives cool vibes with some excellent poses.
And who doesn’t like V’s mini tantrums with his pet doggo? It seems like the BTS members’ posts are shared just to captivate fans around the world.
Now that Tae Bear is also a part of BTS, his popularity obviously knows no bounds. However, he is the first among the other members to have achieved such a feat on Instagram.
Now, ARMYs worldwide are taking to social media and celebrating this milestone of the BTS member.
A fan wrote, “INSTAGRAM KING V.” Meanwhile, another mentioned, “Taehyung stays making history! 69M and counting fastest ever, most followed Korean male idol, and unmatched impact worldwide. The world just can’t get enough of him! ”
Replying to the same update, a fan said, “I’m not surprised! Because Kim Taehyung is not only an idol, but a very interesting and unique Korean artist.”

Interestingly, BTS’ V is not the only person to have created quite a milestone on Instagram. Following him immediately on the list are four more members from the group – Jimin, J-Hope, Jin, and Suga, who have their respective fan bases. The group’s leader, RM, is also on the list at the 7th position.
This proves that the K-pop group indeed has a huge fan base worldwide.

Dating rumors with BLACKPINK’s Jennie
Ever since his military discharge, V has been connected with BLACKPINK’s Jennie again. The rumors of their romance started much before he took a sabbatical to complete his mandatory military duties.
Now that he is back, curious netizens left no chance in linking the two K-pop idols with subtle hints. One of them was regarding the photo of a cake that V shared on social media immediately after his discharge.
Many noticed that the cake is allegedly from the same bakery where Jennie has been seen frequently going. While a few fans dismissed this as a mere coincidence, others are convinced that this is something more, and V and Jennie are perhaps dating.
As usual, neither Kim Taehyung nor Jennie has commented on the matter.
