Cardi B knows what she wants and what she needs, and that’s a baby.
The 33-year-old female rapper welcomed her fourth baby, as confirmed by a rep to PEOPLE. As per the news outlet, the rep said, “Cardi is healthy and happy.”
The newborn is Cardi B’s first with boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs.
Sharing the news on Instagram while posting a video where she lip-syncs “Hello” from her recently launched sophomore studio album, Am I the Drama?, the singer wrote:
“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy, but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby in my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else, so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”
The rapper further added, “This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds, me against everything meant to get in my way. I’ve started prepping for tour, getting my body right, getting my mind right. There’s nothing that’s gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a lifetime! I’ve learned I’ve healed, and I’m loving the woman I’ve become! That’s what this next era means to me, and i’m stepping into it better than ever.”

Speaking to PEOPLE on the red carpet earlier this month, the 31-year-old professional football wide receiver revealed the sex of the baby, stating, “It’s a boy. That’s enough for me. I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”
The Grammy-award winner shares three children, Kulture, Wave, and Blossom, with her husband Offset, 33, with whom she has parted ways for a while. As per the reports, Cardi B had initially filed for divorce from him in 2020, following which she filed again in July 2024. However, it is not yet finalized.
As far as Diggs is concerned, he is already a parent to daughters Nova and Charliee.
The WAP singer publicly confirmed her fourth pregnancy while appearing on the September 17 episode of CBS Mornings. Speaking to anchor Gayle King in a pre-taped interview, the rapper said, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.”
Expressing her excitement over King’s congratulatory wishes, Cardi B said, “I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Appearing on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, Cardi B opened up about her parenting style, sharing that she would have her children be “better than me.” While she doesn’t want her kids to be perfect, the mom of four wants them to be a “100 times better version” of her.
She stated, “It’s discipline. It’s gotta be in you, and you have to be better than me. I want you to be better than me. There’s things that I cannot do that I want my kids to do.”
I want you to be smarter than me. I want you to be — not perfect because you cannot make your kids perfect and you don’t want you to put pressure on your kids [to be] perfect — but I want you to be a 100 times better version than me, and I’m gonna [instill] that in you and you’re gonna be mad and you’re gonna be crying, but you’re gonna appreciate that one day because I wish the things that that I put on my kids that somebody put in me when I was younger”, she continued.
Cardi B and Stefon Diggs’ relationship rumors started to simmer way back in October 2024. According to PEOPLE, the pair made their first public appearance in May 2025 at a Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.
