The Eras Tour concerts are so exclusive that even The Rock had to pull some strings to get tickets for his friend.
Dwayne Johnson proved how exclusive Taylor Swift concerts are while speaking about how he had to use his connections to acquire tickets for his friend.
While speaking to Entertainment Weekly on the matter, he revealed that one of his friends called him up for help getting tickets to one of Swift’s shows, where he had to follow more steps than usual.
Johnson never had to pull strings in his three decades of fame to get what he wanted. He exclaimed, “It’s never happened in my career,” before adding, “Usually, I don’t have to pull strings. Usually, I’ll just… I just make it happen.” This chip on his shoulder is justified given that he is one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood and is well-renowned for his work in movies as well as inside the WWE ring.
The ‘Moana 2’ star further noted, “I’m never good at asking for that kind of stuff. I’m good at giving it. Hate asking for stuff. I don’t do it,” before adding that he made a “little call” and it was done. The little call was made to none other than Swift herself, who made it happen for The Rock. He said, “Taylor made it happen.”
Despite her busy schedule preparing for her final few shows in Vancouver, she picked up Johnson’s call and got his friends the tickets. The ‘Black Adam’ actor appreciated this gesture saying, “I got the picture of the happy ladies who were there. All was well in the world. I appreciate that about Taylor.”
It is no surprise that Taylor Swift has reached the top of the musical industry with brimming accolades, unbridled fame, and her record-shattering Eras Tour. Her global tour has covered almost all continents and has been home to several A-list celebrities and political figures including Prince William of England.
The 14-time Grammy winner has already covered over 149 shows globally since the inception of her Eras Tour in March 2023. Within the time frame of the tour, Swift has been minted a billionaire owing to Eras Tour’s collection, which has surpassed $2 billion to date, and she released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which has six Grammy nominations under its belt.
With the highest-grossing tour nearing its end in December, Swift only has one more destination to cover before she takes her final bow on December 8.
While performing in Toronto last week (her second-last destination), the ‘Teardrops On My Guitar’ artist couldn’t help but tear up while announcing how grateful she was to her Swifties for their support throughout this journey.
Swift will encapsulate these memories in her upcoming tour book, which has 500 worth of images, including many never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes photos captured throughout the tour’s nearly two-year run.
The ‘Love Story’ artist will perform for a final three nights in Vancouver and wrap up the tour.
