Jennifer Aniston’s relationship with Jim Curtis is crystallizing into something much deeper.
Speaking to PEOPLE, a source revealed that the 56-year-old actress and the 50-year-old author-hypnotherapist are enjoying the time they are spending together. Talking about Aniston specifically, the source added, “Their relationship is different. She’s very excited about it.”
“It’s obvious that she admires him. She talks about how he has amazing energy, and she loves what he does for a living, because it truly helps people, including herself”, they continued.
Sketching Curtis’ character as “kind and grounded”, the insider unravels that Aniston enjoys the peace that he brings to her life. They shared, “She acts like she feels very safe with him. She’s really in a great place.” Not only that, but the source also shed light on the couple’s shared insights, stating, “They both liked little rituals and moments that are grounding. They are both into symbolism.”
On November 2, 2025, the Friends actress officially launched her relationship on Instagram, while celebrating Curtis’ birthday. Although the post is perceived as the official launch of her relationship with the love guru, the rumors of the couple dating each other initially sparked in July when Aniston and Curtis were captured being cozy on a yacht. Additionally, in September, the We’re the Millers actress posted another Instagram carousel, recapping her summer in each capture. In one of the photos, she shared a silhouette of a man, whom the fans promptly guessed to be Curtis. The post was captioned with, “Thank you summer ☀️❤️🙏🏼”

According to The Daily Mail, their relationship levelled up when Curtis supported Aniston at the season three premiere of her Apple TV+ drama The Morning Show. In the video obtained by the news outlet, the actress can be seen stepping out of their SUV and stopping to pose for the photographers, while Curtis remained seated in the vehicle until it slowly went out of sight.
Speaking to the news outlet, the source said, “They do everything together, they are always together, and if they have to be away from each other, they are on the phone all the time. They are so hot and heavy, it’s crazy.” The Daily Mail also cited a person with direct knowledge, quoting, “The amazing thing is that they click really well because they have the same interests, like meditation, yoga, therapy, and dogs.”
Jim Curtis has reportedly worked in the health and wellness space for over two decades. According to his website, he specializes in helping people “step into the fullest version of themselves” and is known for posting educational videos on social media.
Earlier, a source confided to PEOPLE that Curtis is helping Aniston to “slow down”, considering she has a proclivity for “going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects” amid her career. Curtis has played a significant role in helping her “turn inwards and slow down a bit.” The source shared further that Curtis “really appreciates and feels proud of everything she’s built.”
According to the insider, “She (Aniston) can be very hard on herself … He supports her in a way that feels new.”
In September, Aniston divulged about her 20-year hidden battle to have a baby to Harper’s Bazaar. For the outlet’s November issue, the actress cleared the air around certain rumors suggesting that she didn’t want to be a mother because she was a “selfish workaholic.”
She said, “They didn’t know my story, or what I’d been going through over the past 20 years to try to pursue a family, because I don’t go out there and tell them my medical woes. That’s not anybody’s business. But there comes a point when you can’t not hear it – the narrative about how I won’t have a baby, won’t have a family, because I’m selfish, a workaholic.”
Aniston’s naturally hyper-productive mode, as delineated here, is presumed to stem from her “difficult” childhood experiences, especially on the relationship front.
Speaking to WSJ Magazine in 2023, the actress admitted, “It was always a little bit difficult for me in relationships, I think, because I really was kind of alone. I didn’t like the idea of sacrificing who you were or what you needed, so I didn’t really know how to do that. So it was almost easier to just be kind of solo. So I didn’t have any real training in that give-and-take.”
Jennifer Aniston was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. They separated after he met Angelina Jolie on the sets of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
