One of the most popular K-pop boy bands, SEVENTEEN, is all set to embark on a world tour, NEW_. The band that made its official debut in 2015 has already completed a decade in the industry.

According to the latest reports, they are going to make four stops in Japan during this tour. It’s officially going to start with two concerts at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on September 13 and 14, respectively. The best part? These concerts will also be livestreamed for fans globally.

Details of the tour

SEVENTEEN is going to hold 10 performances in four domes across Japan:

  • Vantelin Dome Nagoya on November 27, 29 and 30
  • Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 4, 6 and 7
  • Tokyo Dome on December 11 and 12
  • Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 20 and 21

SEVENTEEN’s new tour comes less than a year since the group wrapped up the Right Here tour earlier this year in February.

Recently, it was also announced that the boy band will be collaborating with the popular toy brand BE@RBRICK. If reports are to be believed, each toy from the brand costs between $15 and $1000. Fans can easily purchase the toys from July 24 through July 31.

Meanwhile, the SEVENTEEN members released their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Happy Burstday, a title hinting at evolution and celebration at the same time.

For the unversed, Happy Burstday was released in May in time for the group’s 10th debut anniversary.

The 16-track album has already entered the Billboard 200 at No. 2. Meanwhile, the main track from the album, Thunder, swept all major music charts at home. The LP for Happy Burstday sold over 2.5 million copies in its first week and set the record for a K-pop album released this year.

Earlier records

SEVENTEEN’s previous tour, Right Here, ranked No. 3, which makes for the highest spot for a K-pop artist. It also topped Billboard’s midyear Top Tours chart by scoring $120.9 million.

Currently, two members from the group, Wonwoo and Jeonghan, are completing their mandatory military service. Woozi and Hoshi, on the other hand, will enlist in September, meaning they will not participate in the tour.
