“The sun shines differently, but it will continue to shine, and jumping at it with a hoe isn’t going to do anything. We’ve got to accept facts, elf. That’s what we’ve got to learn.”

As much as we love Geralt and Yennefer’s reunion, we would like to know what’s happening. Episode five has created a lot of confusion which will automatically affect the season’s finale. So here we are, going to discuss The Witcher Season 3 Part 2. As we are aware of what note, the first part ended, giving the audience a heart attack. Although, the biggest heart attack is the actor swipe rumors for Geralt. We try not to dwell about it and focus on the upcoming season final, which will star Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.

The Witcher has always been our go-to series, and ever since the first part got out, fans have been going crazy about the upcoming part as we are aware of how the story began with Geralt in a battle with Kikimora. We have come a long way, from Geralt being a lone Witcher to becoming the protector of Ciri and the love interest for Yennefer. So we can peacefully scream, what happens to our trio next?

The Witcher Season 3 Part 2: What to expect?

Before we go into depth, let’s take a moment to thank Lauren Schmidt and Hisrich for creating such a fabulous show and, of course, Andrzej for writing the book. The first part aired on June 29, 2023, airing its five episodes which also ended on a cliff note. Now as we are desperate to know when we can watch the second part, we are here to cure your curiosity. The Witcher Season 3 Part 2 is set to release on July 27, 2023, only on Netflix. Mark the calendar for Thursday (July 27) to finally get the season’s finale you are waiting for.

What happened in The Witcher Season 3 Part 1?

After the first part finale, it is obvious to feel the need to know more. For those who haven’t seen the first part yet, Spoiler Alert!

The first part starting revolves around Geralt and Yennefer’s strained relationship; however, we do get their happy reunion at the gala. It was cute to watch Yennefer warn Geralt not to watch anyone. Otherwise, she’ll gouge his eyes out. Meanwhile, all Geralt do was smile at her possessiveness and accept her eyes will always be on her (Someone gives me an oxygen mask I can’t breathe after this scene!) Unfortunately, Geralt and Yennefer’s lives couldn’t be peaceful for two minutes before some drama happened. We all know when Yennefer’s ex, Istredd makes his entrance and tells about the Book of Artefacts and Stregobor’s presence in the party.

You all remember Stregobor, right? We met him in the first episode of the series when he was after Renfri and wanted to cure the evilness. Funny because the only evil we could see was him. Yes, we got him arrested because of the wicked plan to create a fake Ciri. When Yennefer went through his stuff, she discovered that he was keeping a list of all the half-or-quarter-elf girl novices at the sorcery school, kidnapping them to experiment on them, attempting to convince each one that she is the real Ciri. You would have thought that getting him arrested put an end to all of this. Nope. Turn out Stregobor is nothing but a puppet, which adds another powerful villain to their list.

What to expect from The Witcher Season 3 Part 2?

We need several questions and answers. First of all, have you seen the latest teaser? Netflix just dropped an epic teaser for the second half of the season, teasing a heartbreaking end to Henry Cavill’s run at the titular character. Among clips of fire raining down on Aretuza and Ciri crash-landing in a mysterious desert (where there’s a unicorn!), Jaskier warns an offscreen figure that “the war brewing outside is nothing compared to what Geralt will unleash to protect his daughter.” The trailer ends with the monster hunter himself saying, “There’s no coming back from this.”

Looks like Geralt will go to any extent to protect his daughter with Yennefer supporting him. We all are aware that Yennefer and Ciri’s bond is more like mother and daughter. Even Tissaia said that. Since The Witcher Season 3 Part 2 is going to be the last three episodes where we get to watch Henry in Geralt’s role, fans are devastatingly excited about it. We are also here to keep you up to date with the latest news!
