Since we have gotten a rough idea of how the war really started, thanks to the first season. Since we won’t be getting the second season soon, fans have taken the step to predict some wild plotlines, and we’ll be delighted to disclose them! So here we brought the Top 5 House of the Dragon Season 2 theories you need to be aware of!
Daemon & Aemond fight
If this happens, I’ll pass out happily when Daemon kills Aemond. We got a hint of how much Aemond looks up to Daemon when Daemon kills Vaemond for denouncing Rhaenyra as a whore. Even at the family dinner, Daemon was ready to teach Aemond a lesson for messing with Jacaerys. Imagine how furious Daemon will be when he learns that Aemond is behind Lucerys death. Daemon and Mysaria will plot different scheming as revenge. It’ll be fun to watch Aemond beg Daemon for mercy.
Lucerys is alive
Among the Top 5 House of the Dragon theories, this is the wildest one. Some Fans do expect Lucerys to magically survive (I’m one of those fans). Actually, You can’t blame them for believing that he survived if nobody was shown on the screen. On the other hand, even if he survived Vhagar’s attack, he might have gotten washed off into the sea. However, there is some ambiguity: in the same paragraph, George R. R. Martin mentions in-universe claims that Lucerys survived the attack but lost his memory in the fall and spent the rest of his days as a fisherman.
Alicent and Visery’s fourth child
If we all remember correctly, Viserys and Alicent had four children. Among them, only three have been shown, we believe the fourth child, Daeron is ready to make his debut. He does exist,” Condal told Variety. “No worries, everybody. He’s the youngest son. He’s warded off at Oldtown to Hobert Hightower and soon to Ormond Hightower, who is Hobert’s nephew, who becomes Lord of Oldtown … When he is relevant to be mentioned — and he will be — he will be mentioned.”
The Starks role
Our love for Starks is deep because of Game of Thrones, so it’ll be unfair not to include them. Rhaenyra states that the Starks have never forgotten an oath, and it is theorized that they will most likely join Rhaenyra’s cause and fight for her place on the Iron Throne. We believe Cregan Stark is ready to make his debut to fight beside Rhaenyra. Since Jacaerys was sent to Winterfell, we hope their friendship will bloom like in the books. Someone else will avenge Lucerys Velryon
We do believe Daemon will avenge Lucerys death, but it won’t be interesting if someone else did. By someone else, we mean Rhaena Targaryen. Just because she hasn’t got the spotlight doesn’t mean she’ll never get it. Aemond not only stole her mother’s dragon but also killed her betrothed. No matter how sweet she’s shown, She is Laena’s daughter & Rhaeny’s granddaughter. Both the characters are fierce dragon riders & powerful women. Fans theorize that Rhaena gets revenge against Aemond in one way or another and that she finds happiness after enduring so much loss. Personally wish this prediction comes true so that we get another powerful female lead.
