TWICE’s song Strategy featuring Meghan Thee Stallion has recently made a new record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Reportedly, it has been on the chart for the third consecutive week, with its current position being no. 69. The news was confirmed by Billboard on August 12 in its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States.
For the unversed, Strategy rose to the 74th position in the earlier week after having debuted in the 92nd position. The track was originally released in December 2024 but has gained more popularity after its inclusion in Netflix’s animated fantasy film Kpop Demon Hunters. If reports are to be believed, Strategy is the highest-ranking full group song of TWICE to have ranked on Billboard Hot 100.
Another TWICE track on Billboard
Strategy is not the only song by TWICE to have ranked on the Billboard charts this week. It is closely followed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung’s song Takedown which is currently in the 66th position for the fifth consecutive week. Interestingly, this song is also a part of the Kpop Demon Hunters soundtracks.
The film seems to be having an amazing journey on Billboard, with another song, GOLDEN, ranking at no. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. This track has been sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI. The track is closely followed by Alex Warren’s Ordinary, Chappell Roan’s The Subway, and Morgan Wallen’s What I Want, featuring Tate McRae.

The K-pop girls group won hearts at this year’s Lollapalooza event, where they performed Takedown. It was specifically performed by Chaeyoung, Jihyo, and Jeongyeon during the festival. This was closely followed by Momo and Nayeon, who surprised everyone with their unexpected dance break. For the unversed, the group performed close to 21 tracks at the event.
This year, TWICE broke yet another record by becoming the only all-female K-pop group to have headlined Lollapalooza. J-Hope from BTS was the first South Korean artist to headline Lollapalooza in 2022. His act was followed by many other K-pop groups like Tomorrow X Together and Stray Kids.
Meanwhile, TWICE will be marking their 10th debut anniversary on October 20, 2025.
