Wheein of MAMAMOO fame is finally embarking on a new chapter with WITH US Entertainment.
The agency announced its collaboration with the K-pop star through an official statement on July 25, which reads:
“We signed an exclusive contract with Wheein. We respect Wheein’s captivating vocals and outstanding musicality, and we plan to provide our full support so that she can fully showcase her abilities as a solo artist.”
The agency further added, “We will do our utmost to ensure that Wheein can actively promote both as a solo artist and as a member of MAMAMOO.” With this, WITH US has also hinted that Wheein will continue her future activities as a permanent member of the K-pop group, too.

WITH US Entertainment and its associated groups
Although the name may sound unfamiliar, WITH US Entertainment is actually associated with several renowned K-pop artists and groups. Among them are The Wind and Apink members Yoon Bomi, Park Chorong, Kim Namjoo, and Oh Hayoung.
Wheein’s earlier associations
The MAMAMOO member left her previous agency, The L1ve, after her exclusive contract ended with them in August last year. Reportedly, the artist did not immediately decide on her next agency and was negotiating with several other companies for about a year.
For the unversed, Wheein officially debuted as a member of the MAMAMOO girl group in 2014. Later, the diva also released a solo album, Magnolia, in 2018. The title track from the album, Easy, ranked atop across various music charts at the time of its release. A year ago, Wheein also conducted 20 performances for her debut solo world tour in 18 cities worldwide.
Since then, the K-pop artist has been actively engaged in various music activities. In fact, she has routinely released various other singles, collaborations, and OST tracks. This also includes her high-quality studio album IN the mood and two mini-albums WHEE and Redd.
Now, anticipations are growing fast as the K-pop idol proceeds to join another agency.
What are the other MAMAMOO members doing?
Moonbyul, another member of MAMAMOO, is all set to release her fourth solo EP Laundri on August 20, as announced by her agency RBW Entertainment on Thursday.
Moonbyul is releasing the new album approximately a year after the release of Starlit of Twinkle: Repackage, which was an official reissue of her first solo full album, Starlit of Muse. The LP by the MAMAMOO member eventually topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 10 regions and the repackage in seven.
