Strict restrictions similar to lockdowns will continue in the state today. Those who go out should keep a self-prepared affidavit or proof of the cause. There will be an extensive police inspection. Essential services will not be blocked. 60% of KSRTC buses will be in service.

Meanwhile, KCBC, the Jacobite Church and the Marthoma Church have announced that worship will follow government guidelines. The Jacobite Church makes it clear that believers need to attend Mass online. Churches also suggested that marriages be postponed until the COVID intensification subsides.
KCBC President Cardinal Mar George Alencherry said that the church members should follow the instructions given by the state government and take part in the defence activities. KCBC expressed support for the government in the corona defence of the state.
