It seems that the wait for Kylie Jenner to reunite with her lover is finally over.
The make-up mogul and the 29-year-old actor, who have been dating for two and a half years, struggled to navigate their busy work schedules during the last few months, with the latter occupied in Europe filming Dune: Part Three. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, a source shared that the couple will be spending Thanksgiving together.
The source said, “Kylie’s very excited that he’s been back in L.A. She’s happy to have some special time with him before he returns to filming.” They will reportedly be spending time “with her family next week in L.A.” However, before the Call Me By Your Name actor leaves for the shooting again, he will also be spending some time with his family.
“He started filming in Budapest in July, and they’ve seen each other as much as they can. Kylie’s been flying back and forth every few weeks. Despite the distance, they’ve stayed close. They’ve been making it work”, the source added.
Owing to their long-distance relationship, Jenner and Chalamet were rarely spotted together, which led to speculations about their breakup. However, the source cleared the air, stating that these speculations are “not true.”
The source had also previously confirmed to PEOPLE the falsity of the couple’s split. The rumors started to gain momentum earlier this month when Chalamet did not make it to Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash on Saturday, November 8. Be that as it may, PEOPLE, backed with multiple sources, confirmed that their romance was very much on.
One of the insiders told the news outlet, “Timothée talked about Kylie all the time while filming Marty Supreme. She even flew out to visit him on set in N.Y.C. They also met up in London while he was shooting Dune. They’re really in love.”

As per the news outlets, the couple was last spotted on October 8 at a Yankees game in New York, where the Kylie Cosmetics founder styled a Marty Supreme jacket to showcase her support of her boyfriend’s upcoming film. Not just that, but they were reportedly spending time together in town for the New York Film Festival surprise premiere of Marty Supreme on October 6.
Cheering for her boyfriend backstage, Jenner was spotted by an onlooker supporting Chalamet throughout the premiere. They also shared that the couple looked happy and affectionate at the premiere’s afterparty.
Although the couple has made frequent public appearances, from red carpets to sports stadiums, they have been very tight-lipped about their relationship. In fact, speaking to Vogue earlier this month for their cover interview, the Dune actor explained why he was so private about his relationship with Jenner, whom he’s been dating since 2023. He shared that he would like to preserve this privacy “not out of fear”, but because he didn’t “have anything to say.”
Be that as it may, the Marty Supreme actor did hint at starting a family with Jenner in the same interview, implying that this milestone “could be on the radar.” While talking about a video he was recently watching of someone “bragging about not having kids and how much time it afforded them to do other stuff”, he said that it felt very “bleak.”
Chalamet and Jenner’s romance took off in 2023 when they were spotted together in the latter’s Range Rover outside the Golden Globe nominee’s Beverly Hills, California, mansion. These rumors were later confirmed when the duo was seen making out passionately at one of Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour stops in Los Angeles.
Their romance has not only received a lot of adulation from their fans but also from people of their own fraternity. Chalamet’s Marty Supreme co-star Gwyneth Paltrow praised their relationship while speaking to British Vogue in an interview published on October 15.
She said, “I was like, ‘Do you have a girlfriend?’ And he was like, ‘I do.’ He mentioned that she had kids, and I was like, ‘That’s so cool. I really love to hear that [from] a young man like you.'”
“I understand a 45-year-old who has his own kids going out with a woman with kids, but it’s a cool choice to go out with a young woman who has two kids. I respect it. I think it’s kind of punk rock”, Paltrow added.
