Taylor Swift is not afraid to be overdramatic and true to Travis Kelce, as reflected in her latest docuseries.
According to E! News, the Lover singer emphasized that no one has been able to sweep her off her feet as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end did. In a clip shared from The End of an Era docuseries on November 25, Swift said, “The most meaningful relationship I’ve ever had started with a man saying he was butthurt that I didn’t want to meet him”, while referring to Travis taking his chance during a 2023 episode of New Heights. The docuseries is set to release on December 12, 2025.
Additionally, the 14-time Grammy-awarded winner also noted that her and Travis’ bond goes much deeper, considering that they serve the same purpose through their professions.
The 35-year-old singer said, “We both entertain people. His is considerably more violence than mine.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in August after two years of dating. Ever since, the Cruel Summer singer has reiterated her gratitude for meeting someone like Kelce, whom she had never expected to meet in her life. While appearing on the New Heights podcast on August 13, Taylor reminisced about the earliest days of her romance with the NFL star, stating, “He’s truly getting to know me in a way that’s very natural, very pure, very normal.”
Appreciating his presence in her life, the Fearless singer affirmed, “He’s a vibe booster in everyone’s life that he’s in. He’s like a human exclamation point. You know when you take a picture on your phone, and you push the enhance color button?”
“That’s what you do to everyone’s life”, she said while turning towards her partner.
Not just Taylor, but Travis has also reaffirmed his love and gratitude for the pop culture icon. Speaking to GQ in a profile published on August 12, Kelce said, “We fell in love just based on the people we were sitting in a room together with. We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the f–k off.”

With their engagement creating so much buzz, the fans are eagerly anticipating the couple’s wedding.
Speaking to US Weekly, a source revealed that the wedding preparation is “still in the very early planning stages.” Having decided on no venue as of yet, the insider added that the couple will presumably exchange their vows “early next year.”
According to the source, the 35-year-old pop star “is having so much fun researching venues and locations.”
“She’s in the ideation phase and enjoying it because she’s so creative”, the source added.
Be that as it may, speaking to Page Six, a source revealed that the couple is planning to exchange their vows in Rhode Island, where Swift possesses an estate.
However, Swift’s wedding dress, which the cohort of fans wants to know about, is still unclear. Nevertheless, the “Fearless” singer is not facing any dearth of options.
The source reveals, “Nearly every major designer has reached out to offer to design her wedding gown. She has been so blown away and overwhelmed and flattered at the same time, but she hasn’t made a decision.”
Although the dress details are still up in the air, the couple is seeing eye to eye about how they wish to exchange their vows.
“They don’t want to have a big, over-the-top wedding with a ton of people. It will be private with friends and family, not a ton of celebrities or random people. It will be meaningful, and they will be surrounded by people who are special to them”, the insider shared.
Reinforcing the couple’s inclination towards a simple wedding, US Weekly‘s source continued to say, “Despite their celebrity, they are down-to-earth and normal. They aren’t the flashy people who want a $20 million fantasy wedding. She doesn’t want the pomp and circumstance. It will be more intimate.”
Interestingly, it’s not just Swift who’s gearing up for her wedding, but the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has already made some plans about their big day, as revealed on an episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast on Wednesday, September 17. Inviting Jimmy Fallon as their guest, who had asked whether Kelce was thinking of including a DJ or band for his wedding.
To which the American football player replied, “Yeah, I think we’re live music kind of people, you know?”
Swift and Kelce, also 35, announced their engagement on August 26, 2025. Posting a carousel of dreamlike photos on Instagram that depicted the NFL athlete popping the question to Swift against a paradisiacal backdrop, adorned with floral decorations, the post was captioned with:
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
