Travis Kelce is gearing up to make his nuptials with Taylor Swift sparkling.
Appearing on the Wednesday, September 17 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, the American football player provided a glimpse to the viewers of the wedding planning details with Taylor Swift. According to PEOPLE, the sibling duo had invited Jimmy Fallon as their guest, who had asked whether he and the Lover singer had begun planning for their wedding yet, considering that they recently got engaged.
The television host asked, “Are you working on planning the wedding? Is that the next move?”
To which the Kansas City Chiefs tight end responded, “That’s the next step. That one’s gonna be easy, I just gotta figure out winning football games first.”
Fallon, 50, uplifted Travis to not stress about the special day and probed deeper, “Are you gonna do DJ or band? Are you thinking about all this stuff?”
“Yeah, I think we’re live music kind of people, you know?”, Travis responded.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon host was further curious to know if Jason, 37, was intrigued by seeing the performer side of his brother.
The former Philadelphia Eagles football center shared about his brother’s proclivity towards entertainment, saying, “I’ve seen these [moves] all growing up. He’s always had this in his bag. He’s been a man of entertainment since the beginning. So this is not surprising.”
Fallon’s question presumably stemmed from the American Century Championship in July, when he participated with his brother in singing karaoke. It seemed that some of the traits of his fiancée did rub off on him, considering that he and his brother mesmerized the fans with their cover of Bob Seger’s classic 1978 hit Old Time Rock & Roll.
Not just that, but according to PEOPLE, Kelce and Swift sang with full power and emotion at the US Open together in a public display in September 2024.
Kelce and Swift shared the official announcement of their engagement in late August after two years of dating, mesmerizing the fans with their dreamy, paradisiacal backdrop, adorned with floral decorations. Despite their fairytale-like engagement, the couple is inclined towards a more private wedding. The NFL athlete and the 14-time Grammy-awarded winner captioned the post with:
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨”

Earlier this month, reminiscing about this special moment, Travis confessed that he still felt “giddy” about stepping towards forever with Swift. Sharing some pearls of wisdom about creating a perfect proposal to his fans, he said, “Man, you gotta know your gal. Or your significant other. You can’t let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way. … You might be able to get some ideas from how other people did it, might get the creative juices flowing,” he explained. “I would just say know your partner, know who you’re doing it for, and do it for the right reasons, baby.”
Speaking to PEOPLE, a source had previously confirmed, “It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle. They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy.”
Beyond the wedding, the couple seems to have planned out their entire life together. According to US Weekly‘s source, the couple is also keen on starting a family in the near future.
The source said, “They absolutely want a family. Their dream is to have kids.”
Be that as it may, the final dates of their nuptials are still kept under wraps. Per the reports, however, it is expected to happen soon. As per US Weekly‘s source, the couple might “not wait too long” to commence their next chapter. The insider revealed, “[Taylor’s] in a great space in her career, and with her success and she can take some time away.”
